I have great interest in, patience, and compassion for, my clients. I believe everyone should have the chance to hear themselves, and to be heard. You may feel “oh, she’s heard it all before,” or “my problem is not big enough to talk about.” I can assure you, that is not the case.
I have a Masters Degree in integrative psychotherapy from the Metanoia Institute, and have worked in a number of counselling services in addition to private practice. I am a registered member of the UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapists), and comply with its code of ethics.
Integrative psychotherapy draws together current research and methodology about the process of suffering, healing and change from different, and interrelated psychological and philosophical thinking. I make it my business to stay up-to-date with current research including developments in somatic therapy and neurobiology.
People say when working with me that I am containing, calm and compassionate.
